The beneficiaries vaccinated include over 2.88 lakh healthcare workers, covering nearly 85% of the targeted vaccination.

On the other hand, about 1,30,000 out of 2 lakh frontline workers have also received their first vaccine shot.

However, to achieve 100% vaccination of the deadline for vaccination has been extended till February 25 for healthcare workers and till February 28 for frontline workers. This part of the mop-up exercise by the state government with a focus to cover the remaining 15% healthcare workers left behind in the process.
