Bhubaneswar: A total of 82.77% Plus II students cleared the annual Higher Secondary Examination (HSC) 2025, result of which was declared by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, on Wednesday.
School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond unveiled the results at the CHSE headquarters here.
While the overall pass percentage saw a marginal drop from 83.38% in 2024, the science stream recorded the highest pass percentage of 87.50, followed by commerce at 83.20 and arts 80.51. In 2024, the overall pass percentage was around 86.93 for science, 82.27 for commerce and 80.95 for arts.
Girls put up an exceptional performance, securing a 87.24% pass rate, while boys attained a pass percentage of 77.88%.
This year, more than 3.9 lakh students appeared for examinations, which were conducted from February 18 to March 27.
