The entire country is looking forward to hear the Prime Minister as it comes two days after India and Pakistan agreed to cease all military offensives across land, air and sea following four days of intense conflict across the border.

Congress party has demanded a special session of Parliament for discussions on Operation Sindoor and the ceasefire agreement.
India launched Operation Sindoor in the early hours of May 7, destroying nine terror hubs in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir after terrorists brutally killed 26 civilians at Pahalgam on April 22.
Pakistan retaliated by launching drones and missiles at several cities in northern and western India, targeting civilians, religious sites and military installations. India managed to repel Pakistan’s attacks with its robust air defence system.
The Foreign Secretary and two from the officers Defence forces had been briefing the media daily about the actions and counter-actions that had been taking place since May 7.
On May 11 and 12, the Director Generals of Military Operations, Air Operations and Naval Operations held detailed briefings on Operation Sindoor and the subsequent military actions to quell Pakistan’s attempted attacks.
