Bhubaneswar: President Draupadi Murmu is slated to embark upon a two-day visit to Odisha on July 14 to attend a number of important events.
As per sources, the President is scheduled to attend the convocation ceremony of AIIMS Bhubaneswar in the capital city as the chief guest on the first day of her visit to the state.
Murmu is slated to attend the convocation ceremony at Ravenshaw University in Cuttack on July 15, the second day of her Odisha visit.
The President is also scheduled to attend some other programmes in Cuttack on the second day of her tour. She is slated to lay the foundation stone of Ravenshaw Girls’ High School and pay tribute to Adikabi Sarala Das by garlanding his statue.
In addition, Murmu will also grace an event for Kalinga Ratna Puraskar 2024 in Cuttack.
Details of her tour programme are being worked out and official confirmation as well as complete itinerary are awaited.
