The Ratna Bhandar, which houses the valuable ornaments and other precious items, of the sibling deities, was recently repaired. The valuables were earlier temporarily relocated for the repair work which has been completed. The valuables will be shifted back to their original location treasury.
During the shifting process, devotees will not be allowed to enter the temple and Bhog Mandap, but they can still collect Mahaprasad from the Anand Bazar.
The SJTA has stated that devotees will not be allowed to have the darshan of the sibling deities Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra during the time of shifting.
It also sought the cooperation of devotees during the shifting to ensure the smooth execution of the shifting process.
Once the shifting process is completed, the restrictions will be lifted, and darshan will resume as normal. The administration is confident that devotees will understand the necessity of this arrangement and appreciate the efforts being made to safeguard the valuable items.
