Rain, Thunder To Hit 5 Odisha Districts This Afternoon

Bhubaneswar: Rain coupled with lightning and thunderstorm is likely to batter at least five districts of Odisha on Wednesday afternoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning

The IMD in its nowcast warning issued at 11:40 am sounded a yellow alert for Mayurbhanj, Kendujhar, Baleshwar, Rayagada and Malkangiri. These districts are likely to witness the weather activity over the next three hours.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan accordingly for their safety.
