Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for seven districts of Odisha, including twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Kataka, till 6 pm on Friday.
Light rain with thunderstorm and lightning may occur at one or two places in the districts Kataka (including Kataka city), Khordha (including Bhubaneswar city,Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Dhenkanal and Kendrapada during the next 3 hours.

People have advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
