Ranji Trophy: J&K Beat Odisha By Four Wickets
Cuttack: Jammu & Kashmir pulled off a thrilling win over Odisha by four wickets on the penultimate day of the Ranji Trophy Group C match at the DRIEMS ground here on Tuesday.
Resuming their overnight second innings score of 137 for 7, Odisha were all out for 166, giving the visitors a winning target of 204.
The visitors in their second innings lost Ahmad Omar Banday’s wicket. However, Suryansh Raina (69), Shubham Singh Pundir (45), Abdul Samad and Aquib Nabi (26 not out) ensured victory for their team.
For his all-round show, Aquib Nabi was adjudged the Man of the Match of the tournament.
With this win, J&K bagged six points.

This was the first defeat of Odisha in the ongoing Ranji session. Out of the six matches played, Odisha have won against Chhattisgarh, Services, Uttarakhand and Haryana and drawn the match with Tripura.
