Rishi Kapoor’s Two ‘Most Precious Gifts’ To Son Ranbir

Mumbai: Late actor Rishi Kapoor has left behind a rich legacy as well as enormous wealth for his family.

However, according to son Ranbir Kapoor, the two most precious gifts which his father gave him are his mother Neetu Kapoor and the fact that the late actor was a good husband to his wife.

In Rishi Kapoor’s memoir ‘Khullam Khulla’, Ranbir wrote in the foreword, “As I sit down to analyse my relationship with my father, I would say that the most precious gift he has given my sister Riddhima and me is that we can love our mother unconditionally. He showed us by example that she was at the centre of all our lives and our home. With her as our bedrock, none of the ups and downs in our lives could really touch us.”

“The second gift is that he has been a good husband to my mother,” wrote Ranbir,

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor breathed his last on Thursday and was cremated on the same day at Chandanwadi crematorium in Mumbai.

His son Ranbir Kapoor performed the last rites as per the custom.

The funeral service was attended by family members, few close relatives and friends due to the nationwide lockdown.
