Odisha-Born Ritesh Agarwal Ready To Offer Oyo Rooms As Coronavirus Quarantine Centres
Oyo Rooms, India’s largest hotel chain, is ready to provide its rooms as coronavirus quarantine centres if need be. Ritesh Agarwal, the company’s founder, replied to a Twitter suggestion stating that he’s ready to do so and would require the help of medical professionals.
Oyo is present in over 500 cities in India and has around 2.7 lakh rooms in 18,000 hotels.
We’re open to supporting this and support @MoHFW_INDIA and in the process across Cities… Ofcourse would require help for best level of medical suggestions.

Currently, apart from government centres, a few hotels in Aerocity, Delhi have been designated as quarantine centres. Red Fox, IBIS and Lemon Tree are hotels where patients can pay and stay quarantined.
Schools, colleges, malls and other crowded places have been shut down till March 31 across the country. The number of positive cases in India has reached 137 with three deaths and 14 recoveries.
