Bhubaneswar: Students, parents, educators and distinguished personalities came together to reflect on India’s past, celebrate its present and envision the future at SAI International School’s SAI Confluence 2025, a cultural and thought-leadership evening themed ‘Udaan@100 India Rising’.
The inspiring programme, commemorating India’s journey towards 100 years of Independence, commenced with a grand symphony, followed by an invocation dance presented by students from different classes.
“Udaan@100 India Rising is not merely a celebration of India’s journey, but a powerful reminder of the responsibility our children shoulder as torchbearers of the nation’s future. Education today must go beyond academics to shape responsible, empathetic, and future-ready citizens. At SAI, we believe in a holistic approach that instils pride in our heritage, encourages critical thinking, nurtures emotional intelligence, and builds compassion to lead. Through platforms like SAI Confluence, we strive to develop globally competent yet deeply rooted individuals who will shape India@2047 with integrity, innovation, and purpose,” Sahoo said.
The event included Holistic Parenting Award presentation, honouring parents as vital partners in shaping balanced and value-driven individuals, and recognising their role in nurturing well-rounded personalities grounded in values.
The highlight of the evening was a dance drama by SAIoneers, tracing India’s civilisational and national journey. Class IV depicted India’s ancient and medieval legacy, Class V portrayed the colonial era and freedom struggle, while Class VI students captured the dawn of Independence in 1947.
The narrative then moved to India Rising, with Class VII students showcasing nation-building and progress, and Class VIII celebrating India’s achievements in culture, sports, and its growing global identity.
The grand finale, looking ahead to the future, was presented by Class IX, envisioning India@2047 driven by innovation, inclusivity, sustainability and youthful leadership.
The programme concluded with a performance by Class XI, symbolising confidence, responsibility, and the readiness of India’s youth to lead the nation forward.
