Bhubaneswar: The SAI International School recently hosted a grand felicitation ceremony for its alumna, Ritika Rath, who secured 48 rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024.
Chairperson of SAI International Education Group lauded Ritika’s triumph as a “testament to the transformative power of holistic education.” “At SAI, we nurture not just intellect, but the fortitude to thrive amid life’s ebbs and flows. Ritika embodies our belief that true success lies in steadfastness, not speed,” she added.
It was her third attempt at the exam.
“Education is the alchemy that turns dreams into destiny,” remarked Sahoo, encapsulating the evening’s spirit—a celebration of grit, guidance, and the glory of walking one’s own path.
The ceremony culminated in a vibrant interaction where Ritika fielded questions from SAIoneers.
“Perseverance is the quiet engine of achievement,” Ritika remarked during her address, recounting how the school’s ethos, ingrained by its founder, Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, shaped her resolve. “Chairman Sir’s assemblies were not mere gatherings; they were masterclasses in character-building. He taught us that success is not a sprint but a marathon, where patience and self-belief are your greatest allies,” she shared in an exclusive SAITV podcast post-felicitation.
She further stated that SAI taught her that ambition, when rooted in purpose, isn’t a loss but a choice
On privilege in the UPSC ecosystem, she acknowledged, “My corporate job afforded me financial safety nets many lack. The system must democratise access—merit thrives when opportunity isn’t a privilege.”
