New Delhi: There is good news for central government employees: they are likely to get a salary hike soon.

As per recommendation of the 7th Pay Commission, government employees will receive enhanced Dearness Allowance (DA) for January-June 2020 period from July 2021 onwards.

There is likely to be a 3 per cent hike in their DA due to inflation. They are presently getting 17 per cent DA.
