Sambalpur: Tension prevailed at Ainthapali police station in Sambalpur district on Tuesday after people of Karamatuli village, demanding that the murder accused who are currently in police custody be handed over to them, staged a protest.
Three persons were arrested by police on Monday night in connection with the murder of a youth, identified as Vishal Khadia of Karamutuli village.

Khadia was found dead with his throat slit near Budharaja hill on Monday morning. He was rushed to VIMSAR in Burla, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
The agitators withdrew after the cops assured them that the matter was under investigation and more people were likely to be arrested in connection with the case.
