Saroj Pradhan Appointed Govt Chief Whip, Gobinda Das Dy Chief Whip In Odisha Assembly

Bhubaneswar: BJP MLA from Boudh Saroj Kumar Pradhan was on Monday appointed the government Chief Whip for the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly.

Similarly, Remuna MLA Gobinda Chandra Das was appointed the government Deputy Chief Whip in the Assembly.

The Parliamentary Affairs Department issued separate notifications in this regard.

“Hon’ble Chief Minister is pleased to appoint Sri Saroj Kumar Pradhan, Hon’ble MLA Boudh as the Government Chief Whip for the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly with immediate effect,” said a notification.

A similar notification was issued about the appointment of Gobinda Das as Deputy Chief Whip.
