Coimbatore: Famous fashion designer Satya Paul passed away here in Tamil Nadu on Thursday due to natural causes. He was 79 years old, moneycontrol reported.
Paul’s death was confirmed by the Isha Yoga Centre. He was credited for reinventing sarees in the contemporary age. Paul founded the namesake Indian designer label ‘Satya Paul’ in 1985. The brand, now present across the country, is known for its indigenous prints, the report added.
