Cuttack: The Orissa High Court on Monday directed the state government to submit a clarification on the matter pertaining to the waiver of school fees within seven days.

The HC also wanted to know whether the state government has control over all private schools.

The court directive came while rejecting intervention petitions filed by some private schools.

The matter will again come up for hearing after the government submits the affidavit.
