Bhubaneswar: It’s confirmed! Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will be part of Hockey World Cup celebrations at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on Wednesday.
Taking to Twitter, Salman confirmed the news.
“Happy to join Hockey Men’s World Cup Celebrations 2018 in the Millennium City of Cuttack on 28th November 2018. Come let’s cheer for the World’s best n make it memorable!!.”
He also posted a video saying the same.
Expressing gratitude, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said Odisha is waiting to welcome him in the Millennium City on November 28.

State Sports Secretary Vishal Dev also said that a confirmation has been received by Salman Khan’s office.
His team also supervised the Barabati Stadium on Tuesday and discussed security arrangements with the DCP and the Collector.
Music maestro A R Rahman will also perform at the event.
