Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw a sharp fall in daily COVID-19 caseload with 753 cases being reported from all 30 districts in the last 24 hours.
With this, the affected tally touched 308659 on Sunday.
It is for the third day in November that the state reported less than 1000 fresh cases with 986 and 902 people being found infected on November 11 and November 14 respectively.
Among the new cases, 434 are quarantine and 319 local contacts.
Sundargarh district reported the highest 75 cases, followed by Khurda (74), Nuapada (65), Angul (47), Kalahandi (47), Cuttack (41), Balangir (41), Puri (34), Balasore (32), Bargarh (31), Keonjhar (27), Jagatsinghpur (26), Jharsuguda (26), Kendrapada (26), Mayurbhanj (25), Sambalpur (20), Bhadrak (17), Boudh (12), Koraput (12), Ganjam (11), Dhenkanal (11), Kandhamal (10), Sonepur (7), Jajpur (6), Nayagarh (6), Rayagada (5), Deogarh (3), Gajapati (3), Malkangiri (2) and Nabarangpur (1).
Besides, the state pool has 10 new cases.
With 296516 recoveries, Odisha has now 10563 active cases.
