Sidhu Moose Wala Murder-Accused Reveals Plot To Attack Salman Khan
Ludhiana: Initial interrogation of the accused recently arrested in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case points to a plan to attack Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, according to Punjab Police.
Deepak Mundi and his two associates Kapil Pandit and Rajinder were nabbed near the West Bengal-Nepal border on Saturday, and sent to 7-day police custody by a court in Mansa district.
Police said Kapil Pandit was involved in the recce by Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang to attack Salman. DGP Gaurav Yadav said the other accused persons will be interrogated to get more leads on the plan against Salman.
An unsigned letter with the message ‘tumhara Moose Wala kar denge (you will end up like Moose Wala)’, allegedly addressed to Salman and his father Salim Khan, was found at Mumbai’s Bandra Bandstand promenade in early June.
Salman’s lawyer Hastimal Saraswat also received a threat letter, found outside his chamber, from Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Jailed gangster Bishnoi, who is also under investigation in the Moose Wala case, revealed that he wanted to kill Salman in 2018 to teach him a lesson over the 1998 blackbuck poaching case.
