Six Test COVID Positive In Industrial Belt In Odisha’s Angul, District Tally Crosses 100
Angul: The COVID-19 tally in Angul district rose to 106 on Sunday with 11 more persons testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, six were detected from the industrial area in Banarpal block. These included five men aged 58, 36, 55, 59, and 55 years and a 55-year-old woman.
Of the others, two men (25 and 44 years) tested positive at a temporary medical camp (TMC) in Kishornagar block and another 36-year-old patient was reported from the same area.

One case (76 years) was reported from Kaniha locality while the details of one more patient were yet to be ascertained.
All the new patients were shifted to the COVID hospital in Talcher, the district administration said.
Earlier, the district administration had directed the industrial plants to impose restrictions on the movement of employees and those arriving to the industrial area from outside Odisha.
With one death and 57 recoveries so far, Angul district has 48 active cases.
