Bhubaneswar: A nursing student from outside Odisha reportedly committed suicide in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
According to sources, the student, identified as Saurabh Dey from West Bengal, was studying in a nursing college at Bharatpur in the city. He was found hanging with a rope from the ceiling of his hostel room by other students.
On being informed, a team from Bharatpur police station reached the college and sent the body of 19-year-old Saurabh for post-mortem.
The police have filed an unnatural death case and started investigation to ascertain the cause of suicide.
