Mumbai: Unfazed by the ongoing controversy around ‘Hera Pheri 3’, actor Suniel Shetty took to his X handle on Friday to wish his ‘Hera Pheri’ co-star Paresh Rawal on his birthday.
Heaping praises on his on-screen partner Baburao, Suniel called him a man of wit and wisdom.
Sharing a throwback photo with Paresh, Suniel wrote, “To the man… Who is a powerhouse of both Wit & Wisdom and an even more wonderful human being. Happy happy birthday Pareshji. Much love and respect always. @SirPareshRawal.”

On learning about Paresh’s sudden exit from ‘Hera Pheri 3’, a shocked Suniel had stated that the film cannot happen without the veteran actor.
“It cannot happen. 100 per cent cannot happen without Paresh Rawal. It can have 1 per cent chance without me and Akshay, but 100% can’t happen without Paresh ji. No, it doesn’t. Raju and Shyam, if they’re not hammered by Babu here, it doesn’t work,” Suniel was quoted as saying by ANI.
The actor said that he will definitely call up Paresh and try to convince him to return as just like the audience, he too is eagerly looking forward to the collaboration of Raju, Shyam, and Baburao in the cult comedy.
“I haven’t even spoken to him yet because I’ve been out of Mumbai. I plan to meet him after the 23rd and understand what went wrong. Everything was on track till now,” he said.
Paresh, reacting to the reports which claimed that he left the film due to creative differences, clarified, “I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER. I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director.”
Later, Akshay Kumar’s production house Cape of Good Films issued a legal notice seeking Rs 25 crore in damages for Rawal’s sudden exit.
