Sushant Singh Rajput & Sister’s Chats About Anxiety Medicines Show Up

Mumbai: Sushant Singh Rajput’s family had claimed the actor did not suffer from any mental health issue.

WhatsApp texts between the late actor and his sister Priyanka Singh discussing anxiety and anti-depressant medicines ‘Librium, Nexito and Lonazep’, however, tell a different story.

The chats accessed by NDTV allegedly happened on June 8, six days before he died. Sister Priyanka is seen asking Sushant to take Librium for a week, Nexito every day and Lonazep “whenever there is anxiety attack”.

Priyanka also says that she will try to connect him with the “best doctor in Mumbai, all confidential”.

The chats read as follows:

Priyanka Singh: First take Librium for a week then start nexito 10 mg once everyday after breakfast. Keep Lonazep handy whenever there is anxiety attack.

Sushant Rajput: ok sonudi

Sushant Rajput: No one will give without prescription

Priyanka Singh: Let me see if I manage

A missed voice call

Priyanka Singh: Babu call me… I have to send the prescription

Priyanka Singh: My friend here is a renowned doctor who can get you connected to the best doctor in Mumbai all confidential.. so don’t worry

Priyanka Singh: Just call

Priyanka Singh: Sends an attachment (Prescription)

Priyanka Singh: Babu this is the prescription

Priyanka Singh: It’s of Delhi but it should not matter . If anything, one can say it is on online consultation

Sushant Rajput: Ok thank you so much Sonadi.

Sushant’s family lawyer Vikas Singh, however, explained that this “does not contradict our story in any manner. The family did not know he was having any psychiatric problems. Yes, he had informed the family about anxiety and his sister was doing some self-medication. Since there was a lockdown, she got a prescription from Delhi”.

Earlier, Sushant’s father had denied having any knowledge of his mental health condition and accused Rhea Chakraborty of giving him medicines and taking him for treatment without their knowledge.
