Mumbai: Bollywood’s most promising actor Sushant Singh Rajput had once expressed a desire to act in his own biopic.
During the promotions of ‘Raabta’, when Faridoon Shahriyar of Bollywood Hungama asked Sushant if he wanted to do another biopic after MS Dhoni, the actor had said that he wanted to play the lead role in his own biopic.
“To be very honest and I am not being arrogant here I want to specify. But I want something to happen in my life or do something in my life. I really would like to do a film on myself and act in it. I just want to see how I do it,” the actor was quoted as saying by Bollywood Hungama.
“Something should happen in my life and the biopic should be made,” he added.
To this, even Faridoon agreed and said that if it happens, then it would really be a great film, revolving around a small-town boy and his journey from the small screen to the silver screen.
A biopic is being made on Sushant now, but unfortunately, the actor won’t be starring in it.
Bankrolled by Vijay Shekhar Gupta, the biopic on Sushant has been named as ‘Suicide or Murder: A Star Was Lost’. Sushant’s doppelganger Sachin Tiwari will be playing the lead role in the film.
Sushant was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14. A CBI probe in the actor’s mysterious death is underway.
