Sushant Singh Rajput’s Mumbai Apartment Finally Finds New Tenant

Mumbai: There were no takers for the Bandra apartment where Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in June 2020.

Finally, the owner, who is an NRI, has found a new tenant.

Real estate broker Rafique Merchant, who had been approached by the owner a few months ago, said that the deal is likely to be finalised soon.

“We have found somebody (a tenant)… We are in the final stage of talks with the family to finalise the agreement,” Rafique told India Today.

Sushant had taken the duplex apartment on sixth floor of Mont Blanc Apartments at Jogger’s Park, Bandra, in December 2019 for three years.

Within six months, however, the Bollywood actor was found dead in the flat. Initially dismissed as suicide by Mumbai Police, the case was taken over by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) after Sushant’s father complained against the actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) have also been robing different angles related to the Sushant death case.

Rafique had said earlier that prospective tenants are scared to move into the flat where Sushant died.
