Bhawanipatna: A Class V student lodged a police complaint against a teacher, alleging that he had misbehaved with her, in Kalahandi district.
According to sources, the teacher of a school in Junagarh, identified as Sanjib Panda, called up the girl to his office room on Friday and allegedly misbehaved with her. However, the girl opposed it and later narrated the ordeal before her family members.
Acting on the written complaint, Junagarh have detained Panda for questioning.
Meanwhile, the locals have demanded an inquiry into the matter and stern action against the accused.
