Sambalpur: The Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, will remain closed for three days starting Saturday.
The VSSUT Vice-Chancellor, in a notification, announced that the varsity would remain closed on October 12. The university had earlier declared October 10 (Saturday) and 11 as holidays.
During this period, the entire campus will be sanitised to contain the spread of COVID-19.
All faculty members have been requested to take their assigned classes from home, the notification added.
The university was closed for four days from September 26 to September 29 amid the rise in COVID-19 cases.
