Threat Of Invasion: Ukraine Demands Urgent Meeting With Russia
Kiev: Ukraine has asked for an urgent meeting with Russia and over a dozen nations over Moscow’s build-up of forces along the ex-Soviet state’s border.
Foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Russia had ignored Ukraine government’s formal request seeking an explanation as to why Vladimir Putin-headed nation had advanced over 100,000 troops and modern weapons around Ukraine border.
“Ukraine is convening a meeting with Russia and all member states in the next 48 hours to discuss the reinforcement and movement of Russian forces along our border,” the minister wrote on Facebook.

More than a dozen countries, including the US and UK, have urged their citizens to leave Ukraine amid warnings of an imminent attack.
According to the 1990 Vienna Document, the 57 members of Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) must share information about their military forces and notify each other about major activities.
British PM Boris Johnson cut short a trip to north-west England. He said evidence is “pretty clerar” that Russia is planning an invasion of Ukraine.
