Bhubaneswar: The Railway Board has decided to run three pairs of special trains from September 12.
According to a notification by the Ministry of Railways, 02843/04 Puri-Ahmedabad Express will run four days in a week while 02073/74 Puri-Gandhidham Express and 08401/02 Puri-Okha Express will run once in a week.
These fully-reserved special trains will run to the notified timings. These will be in addition to the Shramik Specials and the special trains, which are already under operation, the Ministry said.
The composition of these trains will be the same as of the existing regular services and their stoppages will be restricted in view of the suggestions of the state governments.
The Railway Board has directed the zonal railways to ensure strict adherence to the instructions.
