Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm coupled with lightning, gusty surface wind and rain is likely to hit Cuttack city and four districts of Odisha on Saturday afternoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
The IMD also issued a yellow warning in the message at 3 pm. Light to moderate thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph may affect some parts of district of Angul, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Nayagarh and Khurda within next three hours.

People are advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike.
