Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) here has forecast thunderstorm and lightning with moderate rainfall at some places in Odisha till 12:30 pm on Friday.
The places which are likely to experience such weather conditions are Balasore, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Cuttack and Nayagarh districts.
People in these districts have been advised to stay indoors and take shelter in buildings during lightning as a precautionary measure.
