Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for 13 districts of Odisha, including twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 9 pm on Tuesday.
Light to moderate thunderstorm/lightning and light to moderate rain may affect some parts of Jajpur, Bhadrak, Rayagada, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Nayagarh, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Sundargarh and Malkangiri in three hours.
People have advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places protect themselves from lightning strikes.
