Tokyo Olympics Hockey: Indian Men’s Gold Hope Dashed, To Play For Bronze

Tokyo: Indian men’s hockey team lost to world champions Belgium 2-5 in the semi-finals of the Tokyo Olympics at the Oi Hockey Arena on Tuesday.

Now India will play for the bronze medal on Thursday, August 5 against the loser of the second semi-final.

The Indian team led by Manpreet Singh was halted after a four-match winning spree. In-form India defeated Spain (3-0), Argentina (3-1), Japan (4-3), and Great Britain (3-1).
