This advanced facility enables real-time monitoring of the network through Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and an Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), ensuring seamless operation of 33kV feeders, primary substations (PSS) and 11kV feeders. Backup power provisions and dedicated communication channels at the Power System Control Centre (PSCC) further reinforce operational continuity.

• Improved voltage stability by augmenting 33kV and 11kV feeders and operationalization of On-Load Tap Changers (OLTCs).
• In City areas, Hot stand by source has been ensured at PSS for changeover in case of main source breakdown within 5 mins with 98% success rate.
• Implemented SCADA-based overload trimming to prevent grid feeder trips.
• Contingency Plan Readiness: With the institutionalization of CPSCC for 33kV Operations of all PSS of TPCODL, contingency have been made ready for situational changeovers during overloading condition for better load management ensuring zero load curtailment
