Bhubaneswar: Senior Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officer Trilochan Mohanty has been removed from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) as the government effected a minor reshuffle in the administrative set up.
Mohanty, who was joint secretary to the Chief Minister, has been transferred as Joint Director of ROTI (Revenue Officers’ Training Institute), Bhubaneswar.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, three other senior bureaucrats have been assigned new responsibilities.
According to the notification, Geetanjali Nayak, OAS (S.V.), Additional Secretary in the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, has been given additional charge as Additional Secretary to the Government in the Electronics and Information Technology Department.
In another key update, the previous transfer order for Nibedita Biswal, OAS (S.V.), Additional Secretary in the Labour and Employees’ State Insurance Department—who was serving as Registrar of Fakir Mohan University, Baleshwar—has been cancelled. Instead, she has now been posted as Additional Secretary to the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department.
Similarly, Kuku Mina Das, OAS (S.), former Registrar of Fakir Mohan University, Baleshwar, who had recently joined the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, has been posted as P.D., R&R, Subarnarekha Irrigation Project, Baripada.
