Sonepur: Three members of family were hacked to death at Beheramal village under Ullunda police limits Sonepur district on Thursday night.
The deceased were identified as Pramod Bhoi, his daughter Bishnupriya and grand daughter Babita.

The accused, Nila Pradhan, surrendered before police and was later arrested. He allegedly attacked the three, who were his neighbour, with an axe in a fit of rage. Both Pramod and Bishnupriya died on the spot while Babita succumbed to the injuries at the hospital.
Police attributed the triple murder to possible past enmity.
