Unrequited Love Angle To Social Activist Aditya Das Death Case

Bhubaneswar: In a fresh twist to Aditya Dash death case, father of the deceased social activist Nandi Kishore Dash on Tuesday claimed that a Gujarat-based woman was keen to marry his son and used to blackmail him.

“We suspect that the woman might have killed Aditya over unrequited love. She was in a way obsessed with him and used to pester Aditya with repeated calls. Since Crime Branch is not investigating this angle, we demand a CBI inquiry into the case,” he said.

The CB is currently investing alleged marital discord and mismanagement of funds in the NGO ‘People For Seva’, which was founded by Aditya. It had already conducted lie detection test on his wife Bidyashree and three NGO members -Smruti Ranjan Sethy, Bikash Baral and Deepak Behera.

On August 28, Bidyashree accompanied by Aditya’s parents has approached the High Court seeking an order for an inquiry by the CBI into the mysterious death of Aditya.
