Vande Bharat Mission, Phase 2: AI Open Bookings On Select Flights From India

New Delhi: Air India on Thursday evening opened bookings for select repatriation flights to be operated during the second phase of Vande Bharat Mission, from May 16 to 22.

Bookings have opened for flights from India to the USA, UK, Australia, Frankfurt, Paris and Singapore. Only citizens of these countries will be allowed to board the flights.

“Reservations for travel from India to select destinations in USA, UK, Australia and to Frankfurt, Paris and Singapore will commence from 1700 hrs on 14th May 20 on http://HYPERLINK “http://airindia.in”airindia.in,” Air India announced on Twitter.

Return reservations from those destinations to India have already started.

The government announced on Wednesday that 30,000 Indians will be flown back from 31 countries in the second phase of Vande Bharat Mission. One hundred and forty-nine flights will be operated during the seven-day period to fly back Indians stranded in different countries due to the Covid-19 induced lockdown.
