Vedanta Bags AON Hewitt Best Employer Award

Bhubaneswar: Vedanta Limited, Jharsuguda, bagged the AON Hewitt Best Employer Award for ‘Commitment to Engagement’ at a glittering ceremony in Mumbai recently.

The company was the top contender in employee engagement activities spanning Communication, Branding, Rewards & Recognition, and Improving Quality of Life.

This season, AON Hewitt picked the best among participating corporates after a meticulous screening process where 125 companies from 10 industries representing almost 329,000 employees were scrutinized as part of the study.

The evaluation process includes data collection across Intent-Design-Experience audits and an intense on-site audit, post which the shortlisted corporates undergo stringent evaluation by an independent jury.

The jury panel for 2018 was comprised of eminent business leaders and academicians from across the country like Ajay Piramal, Chairman, Piramal Group,  Kalpana Morparia, CEO, JP Morgan,  Sanjiv Aggarwal, Senior MD, Helion Ventures, Inderjit Walia, Independent Consultant (Former Group Director HR, Bharti Group), and Prof Premaranjan of XLRI.
