Mumbai: Vijay Varma, currently busy promoting his upcoming web series ‘Matka King’, sparked online chatter after his casual comment about fellow-actor Kartik Aaryan went viral.
During a rapid-fire round in an interaction with WeAreYuvaa, Vijay was asked to name actors based on certain traits.
Asked who he considers the ‘King of PR’ in the industry, he named Kartik.
The remark, made in a light-hearted and spontaneous setting, quickly gained traction on social media and triggered mixed reactions online.
While some users took offence and viewed it as a subtle dig, calling Vijay “jealous” or “hypocritical”, others defended him, pointing out that such rapid-fire segments are meant to be fun and informal.
