Want To Order Food At Home In Twin Cities? Just Click On An App On Your Phone
Bhubaneswar: Getting food home-delivered is no more restricted to pizzas. You can order almost everything from biryani to lasagne from your favourite restaurants by using apps such as Zomato, Swiggy and more. It is as easy as opening an app, selecting what you want to eat and clicking on the pay button. You don’t even need to make a call. Depending on your location, there are hundreds of restaurants, dhabas and home kitchens that you can order from.
There are four such delivery apps operating in Bhubaneswar, and two in Cuttack. Here’s the list:
- Zomato – It is one of the top players here. Till a month back, it was the only delivery service in the Millenium City. Zomato gives discount coupons and cashback on a variety of payment methods. Currently, it gives 25 per cent discount on HDFC cards, 50 per cent on Simpl app, 30 per cent of Lazy Pay and many more on select restaurants. Zomato is also a platform where you can review food and become an influencer. You can use the code SUPR1311 to get 50 per cent off on your first order.
- Swiggy – It has recently started operations in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. Being new, it has slightly fewer listings than Zomato. Swiggy has introductory offers such as 30 per cent instant discounts to cashback on Amazon Pay and more. You can use the code 1934E7 while registering on the app and get Rs 100 in the wallet.
- Uber Eats – It is the world’s biggest taxi aggregator and also delivers food through its Uber Eats services. You have to install a separate ‘Uber Eats: Food Delivery’ app. Currently, Uber Eats is serving Bhubaneswar only.
- FoodPanda – FoodPanda is the other delivery app available in Temple City. It has very few listings on its site.
Apart from these, there are some restaurants, which deliver using their own staff as well.
