Mumbai: The ‘bad man’ of Bollywood, Gulshan Grover, was once denied a Moroccan visa because of Shah Rukh Khan.
Sharing about the incident on Zee TV’s dance reality show ‘India’s Best Dancer’, Gulshan said that he had a layover in Morocco and wanted a visa for a day to do some sightseeing.
When he showed his ticket to a woman officer, she straightaway refused to grant him a visa stating, “Because you beat Shah Rukh Khan! I don’t like you.”
Shah Rukh and Gulshan have worked together in several Bollywood movies namely ‘Duplicate’, ‘Yes Boss’ and ‘Ram Jaane’, in which the latter has always played the role of a villain.
Gulshan revealed that he had a tough time convincing the female officer that his animosity for SRK was onscreen and not in real life.
“Shah Rukh Khan is a dear friend of mine. Neither I beat him nor does he fight with me in real life. It is just in the movies,” Gulshan told the officer.
