[Watch] Missile Hits Lebanon Journalist’s Home During Live Show
New Delhi: Israeli airstrikes are causing widespread destruction in Lebanon.
Ibrahim Qubaisi, head of Hezbollah’s missile division, and two other high-ranking commanders were among more than 550 people killed during the last two days in the deadly strikes by Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
Lebanese journalist Fadi Boudaya was fortunate as he managed to escape death after a close shave.
Fadi Boudia, editor of Maraya International News Network, had just started a Skype interview for a live programme when a missile struck his home in Beqaa, eastern Lebanon.
In a video clip which has gone viral, Fadi is seen losing his balance and thrown off screen the moment the missile struck, stopping him mid-sentence and evoking a scream of horror.
Windows and walls can be heard shattering and collapsing around him. Thankfully, Fadi got away with minor injuries.

Fadi, considered to be sympathetic towards Hezbollah, later reassured his followers through a post on X.
“Thank you to everyone who called, texted, checked in and to everyone who felt any emotion. Thank God, I am fine, thanks to God and His blessings upon us, and we return to continue our media duty in support of the resistance. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” Fadi wrote.
