[Watch] Plane Carrying 133 Crashes In China
Beijing: A China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 carrying 133 people crashed in southwest China on Monday, state broadcaster CCTV reported.
There was no immediate word on casualties.
The plane crashed in the rural countryside near Wuzhou city of Guangxi region and “caused a mountain fire”, CCTV said.
The flight from Kunming to Guangzhou departed at 1.11 pm local time, according to FlightRadar24 data.
The flight tracking ended at 2.22pm local time at an altitude of 3,225 feet with a speed of 376 knots.
It was due to land at 3.05 pm local time.
