Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s effort to give global identity to its rich cultural heritage and resources is associated with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday.
“Odisha has everything from Rangabati to Swabhaba Kabi Gangadhar. From Sambalpur’s textile to Cuttack’s filigree, your efforts to give them global identity will take Odisha to newer heights along with the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat,” the PM said.
He said this after laying the foundation stone for a permanent campus for IIM, Sambalpur in a virtual function.
Modi also lauded the students of the institute, saying their ideas and managerial skills will come in great use to enhance the tourism potential of the area. “There are so many local products such as Bandha Ikat in Sambalpur area. It should be the role of IIM, Sambalpur to make them local for vocal,” he added.
