Chennai: Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi has often been in the news for wrong reasons. At loggerheads with the DMK-led state government over multiple issues, Ravi was pulled up by the Supreme Court for withholding 10 bills passed by the Assembly.
On Saturday, however, the Governor was in the thick of action as India celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day.
In front of thousands of people at Yoga Day celebrations in Madurai, the 73-year-old Governor wowed the gathering by doing as many as 51 push-ups.
The Governor also shared tips on maintaining the correct posture while doing push-ups, at the event organised by Velammal Educational Trust.
Clad in a tracksuit and vest, to suit the occasion, Ravi announced, “I will do it 50 times,” before starting his exercise.
