Water Treatment Plant Inaugurated At Odisha’s IMFA Mines

Bhubaneswar/Sukinda: A water treatment plant (WTP), with a capacity of 6000 litre per hour, was inaugurated at IMFA Mahagiri Chromite Mines on Wednesday.

Through this plant, waste water from the underground mine is processed without using chemicals and made potable.

Inaugurating the WTP, Sukinda MLA Pritiranjan Gharai lauded the efforts of IMFA and said other mines in the region should follow suit.

Among others present on the occasion were Sanjeev Das, SVP, Head, Mining Business Unit, IMFA Ltd, Sudhanshu Patni, VP (Mining), Kalpana Jena and Kaliapani Sarapanch.
