Popular messaging app WhatsApp has rolled out a beta update for Apple users in which there are three main additions – Dark mode, background blur effect and Advance Search mode.
iOS users need to manually update to v2.20.30.25 beta version to access the new features.
The update reportedly adds a dark splash screen, dark bubbles, dark chat lists, and dark wallpapers.
There are solid colours for chats backgrounds now.
The Advanced Search mode helps users search specific message types and looking into media stored as well. There’s “Grid” and “Captions” view in this as well.
The dark mode works only on iPhone 6s or newer ones.
WhatsApp is reportedly working on auto-delete messages and other improved features. The app has been installed 5 billion times on Android. It will soon introduce WhatsApp Payments in India as well.
