When Amitabh Bachchan Felt He Was An ‘Utter Disaster’, Twice Over!
Mumbai: Director Manmohan Singh made Amitabh Bachchan do a Michael Jackson remix in the 1988 film ‘Gangaa Jamunaa Saraswathi’. And Big B is convinced that he failed to pull it off.
“Manmohan Desai the Great felt I should do a remix of MJ .. in our film ‘Ganga Jamuna Saraswati’ .. the result was horrendous! An utter disaster,” Bachchan tweeted along with a picture of himself in a black leather jacket and leather pants from the film.

Jackson, who died at the age of 50, was not only a legendary pop star but also a fashion icon and great dancer.
The film, which also starred Meenakshi Sheshadri, Jaya Prada, Mithun Chakraborty, Amrish Puri, Nirupa Roy and Aruna Irani, bombed at the box office.
Bachchan also attempted the ‘Rock head banger’ and failed again, by his own admission.
“… so having failed the MJ routine .. they asked me to – in more recent times – attempt this , the Rock head banger .. Same result!! Nothing other than the shades rocked,” he posted on Instagram with a picture.
